Hi! I'm Gwen and I am a writer/comedian from southern California. I've previously been a development assistant and I'm currently a freelance comedy copywriter and occasional stand-up comedian.
I attended Harvard University, where I was admitted because I wrote my college essay on how good my parents were at bribing admissions officers. I graduated with a B.A. in English in 2018.
At Harvard, I was a four-year member of The Immediate Gratification Players, the school's oldest long-form comedy improv troupe. During my time with IGP, we performed on campus every two weeks, toured nationally and internationally, and performed with celebrities including Keegan-Michael Key, Nick Offerman, and Colin Mochrie.
I also co-produced SKETCH in 2018, Harvard's oldest running sketch comedy show.
Over the past few years, I've also done a bunch of other stuff, including (but not limited to):
-
interning at Google for six months
-
writing and performing a roast of Lucy Liu for the Harvard Foundation
-
observing the world's largest penis museum in Iceland
-
getting a black eye after falling face-first into a portable toilet
-
witnessing a stranger write a diary entry about me on a plane
-
giving comedic, historical campus tours of Harvard with the Crimson Key society
-
running into a wild bull on a remote hike in rural Spain
-
accidentally cat-fishing an internet scammer
-
giving an award-winning performance as Milky White the cow in Into the Woods
